APRIL 2007

Dear Brethren

We greet you once again from Port Moresby in the name of God the Father the
Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We pray that you are doing well.

The mission work here is going fine. There have been several positive responses
to the series of articles that we are having printed in “The National” newspaper called
"Search the Scriptures”. One came to us via Mt. Hagen in the Western Highlands
Province. He stated his thankfulness that there was a Christian article to read in the
newspaper. We have also had some opposition as well. One man wrote with designs
to correct me regarding salvation being by faith alone and stated that obeying the law
was also necessary. Nevertheless we feel it is a blessing that the articles are being
read by some. We are hopeful to be able to continue them as the Lord provides and
pray that He will use them for the furtherance of His Kingdom. Also as I have
opportunity I am continuing to do translation work.

The literacy classes continue to go well and we are seeing improvement in the
students as each week goes by. I have noticed a few of them starting to try to follow
along in the songbooks during the worship services for which we thank the Lord. In
addition Cyd has started giving keyboard lessons to several who would like to be able
to play for the worship services.

The finishing work on the church building is also going well. We have completed
the wiring and installation of all of the lights and fans and have made good progress on
the completion of the office and the Sunday School/literacy classrooms. The building of
some tables and shelves painting and other odd jobs remain to be done.

Thank you for your love prayers encouragement and support for the Lord's
work in Papua New Guinea.

Love in Christ
Bro. Frank James
